Rocketship Education uses the Map method

Rocketship Public Schools has always used Map to track it student progress. Map or the NWEA measures of academic progress, is quite different from proficiency scores that many schools use to track the students progress.

Proficiency scores are good but only tell whether or not the student is at the right grade level, it does not tell you how the student developed throughout the year. Map on the other hand tracks where the student is at throughout the entirety of the year instead of just at the end of the year.

Rocketship Education Public Schools is happy to hear that the majority of Nashville, Tennessee’s public schools are now using this Map method. Upwards of 7,400 schools are using Map assessment throughout the entire world. According to National Data many students born in poverty start already behind in school and never really catch up. In an area like Nashville a large amount of the students are already economically disadvantaged making it even more important level the playing field.

They were given a 250 million dollar Grant for Charter management organizations in 2017 by the education department, Reed Hastings, CEO of Netflix, gave Rocketship 2 million dollars in support of the Bay Area and the Obama administration gave another 2 million in support of Rocketship Public Schools.

Luiz Carlos Trabuco Continues To Act As CEO Until Lazari’s Appointment This March

During the first week of February 2018, Banco Bradesco SA announced the upcoming appointment of their company’s new chief executive officer, Octavio de Lazari Jr. Lazari is slated to be formally appointed on the 18th of March, replacing Banco Bradesco’s previous CEO and current interim CEO, Luiz Carlos Trabuco.

Prior to the announcement that he would be the company’s next CEO, Lazari served as vice president according to In addition to his new position as CEO, he will be maintaining the title of president at the Bradesco Seguros group, a subsidiary of Bradesco. Bradesco’s Board Reshuffles
Lazari’s appointment as chief executive officer coincides with the first meeting of the company’s new board of directors. The School of Fashion at Academy of Art University held its 21st annual runway showcase during New York Fashion Week and blew everyone away. The event took place on September 9, 2017 at the heart of Fashion Week, Skylight Clarkson Square. Ten recent graduates debuted their fashion lines of both menswear and womenswear and truly put their blood, sweat, and tears on the runway. Among the designers was a vast diversity, which shone through their work, providing an exciting uniqueness with each piece. Established in 1929, Academy of Art University encourages and transforms aspiring artists of all fields to succeed. It was founded as the Academy of Advertising Art by Richard S. Stephens, a fine art painter and Creative Director for Sunset Magazine. With the help of his wife, Stephens opened an advertising school in a rented loft in San Fransisco. Within 10 years, the school also brought curriculum of fashion, design, and fine art. His son Dr. Richard S. Stephens transformed the 50 student school to a 5000 art professionals academy. By 1977 Bachelor’s and Graduate programs were introduced.

The Academy has grown to over 18,000 students and is the largest accredited private art and design university in the United States. Alexandre Gama, the founder and CEO of Brazilian advertising agency Neogama, spent over 17 years working for other agencies and learning the trade.
