According to Barbara Stokes, GHS being a woman-owned company enables them to take advantage of SBA programs to facilitate their growth. The program offers lots of resources accessible to small businesses, and Barbara recommends entrepreneurs to consider it since that is how they started working with the government. She also advises that to grow, an entrepreneur should strive always to stay ahead of the current position of the business.

Barbara also recognizes that a company is dependent on the strength of its employees and she, therefore, tries to give her employees the best experience possible since once they are happy, they are most productive resulting in better performance of our business.

Barbara believes that family, friendship and culture help in shaping up a successful person and she implements these in her home and at GHS.
